Even there is no fixed schedule you have to follow, you can work anytime at your convience.

This practice is known as site flipping and can make you a tidy sum of money if you know how to build an attractive and profitable website. For a rough estimate of how much money you can earn from site flipping, check out the SitePoint Marketplace to browse through the collection of websites for sale. 5. Participate in Get Paid Websites (Hosting+Domain)There are hundreds of websites out there which you pay you to read emails, do surveys, sign up for trial subscriptions, online data entry and surf the web. Websites that pay you to complete offers are worth examining because they usually include affiliate programs with recurring commissions to be earned. (Hosting+Domain)The benefit of get paid to websites is that you do not need to have your own website or any personal skills at all. The downside is that there are a lot of get-paid-to scams around and finding websites that are legitimate can be fairly difficult. Immigration to Canada: The Canadian Dream

Historically, Canada has been a relatively welcoming destination for immigrants. Canada has always remained a immigrant haven because of its equal opportunities for every one, its strive for the quality and its hospitality. Nearly 20 percent of the Canadian population is foreign born. The country boasts one of the world’s only permanent immigration programs, and the minister of citizenship and immigration recently announced that he hopes Canada will welcome 220,000 to 245,000 immigrants and refugees in 2009. Getting Canadian citizenship has become a dream, bigger than American dream.
A relatively small number of those immigrants are expected to come from the Asia region, many for the work permit while seeking Canada immigration. In 2008, emigrants from the Asia region constituted only 2.7 percent of the total number of immigrants to Canada, a figure that has held steady over recent years—even in 2007, after the terror threats in the Canada. National health insurance, legal gay marriage, no death penalty, full abortion rights, less crime, less poverty. Canada didn’t support the invasion of Iraq, and they don’t keep a huge military with which to bully the rest of the world. Religious fanatics do not control the government. It’s not a socialist utopia, but it all adds up to a very different attitude about government, society and a nation’s place in the world. In short, it’s a country with values more similar to the utopia. It’s a world country.
It’s extremely diverse. There are jobs in our field. It’s English-speaking. It’s a big enough city that you won’t be bored. Though its never easy to move anywhere, but when one enters the Canada, hearts pounding and eyes welling with tears, Canada embraces and welcomes and offers huge lucrative and passionate opportunities. Throughout Canada, things are rosy for those who know their work. Alberta, Quebec, Montreal and all other cities and towns are buzzing with the vitality of the booming economy.
There is much to learn about the country and about the Canada immigration, there are many pieces of paper and permissions to have in place, and as a result, a country that seems so close to our own in many ways can suddenly become very foreign indeed. Which is precisely why you need an excellent immigration lawyer to help you with moving to live in Canada if you’re in the process of planning a relocation and getting your work permit.
Canada believes in quality rather than on the quantity. Canada Immigration is the hot thing but unfortunately, for many migrants, Canada has been less than paradise. Canadian citizenship is the most sought after thing but he Canadian government is aware that many migrants have struggled economically in Canada and it is now striving to improve migrant-outcomes. So, although Canada is a fantastic choice for most people, it’s not for everyone. You must also consult some reliable immigration lawyers in regard of moving to Canada and getting work permit over there.
When you have determined your motives in wanting to come to Canada, it’s important to identify the realities of what lies ahead. It’s wonderful to have great expectations, but it’s imperative that you become well informed on certain aspects of Canadian life. Work permits for the skilled labors are there but that is not all to learn about, the real thing comes to know the ins and outs about moving to Canada. Nothing beats the well researched movement. The higher the level of skill and expertise you have the better your chances of getting into Canada.
Most people think United States and Canada alike. But contrary to what some Canadian cynics say, Canada is not only defined as “not the United States.” Its identity is more subtle than that of the U.S., but then, it’s a more subtle country. Canada doesn’t go around thumping its chest declaring itself The Greatest Nation on the Face of the Earth. Canada speaks more quietly. I think when Canada speaks, it uses “we” more often than “I.” One might sum up the difference between the U.S. and Canada as individualism vs. community. Of course, both countries have both, but there is an unmistakable difference in emphasis.
It’s really nice. Canada truly prides itself on being a nation of immigrants.
The newly announced fast track Canadian immigration processing for 38 job categories are as follows:
Financial Managers, Computer and Information Systems Managers, Managers in Health Care, Restaurant and Food Service Managers, Accommodation Service Managers, Construction Managers, Financial Auditors and Accountants, Geologists, Geochemists and Geophysicists, Mining Engineers, Geological Engineers, Petroleum Engineers, Specialist Physicians, General Practitioners and Family Physicians, Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Head Nurses and Supervisors, Registered Nurses, Medical Radiation Technologists, Licensed Practical Nurses, University Professors, College and Other Vocational Instructors, Chefs, Cooks, Contractors and Supervisors, Pipefitting Trades, Contractors and Supervisors, Carpentry Trades, Contractors and Supervisors, Heavy Construction Equipment Crews, Electricians (Except Industrial and Power System), Industrial Electricians, Plumbers, Steamfitters, Pipe fitters and Sprinkler System Installers, Welders and Related Machine Operators, Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanics, Crane Operators, Drillers and Blasters – Surface Mining, Quarrying and Construction, Supervisors, Mining and Quarrying, Supervisors, Oil and Gas Drilling and Service, Supervisors, Petroleum, Gas and Chemical Processing and Utilities

Article By Imran Khan

By Imran Khan
It was Goebbels who came up with the brilliant theory that if the government wanted people to follow its policy, it must first instill fear in them and then slap all dissenters with the unpatriotic card. Anyone like me, who disagrees with the current indiscriminate military operation is accused of being a Taliban apologist.
Let me state categorically that I have been against the military operations since the disaster of what was formerly the East Pakistan. From East Pakistan to the present Swat operation, the political mantra has always been “no option but the military”. Successive military operations in Balochistan have only added to the sufferings of the Baloch people, which nurtured the seeds of their disillusionment with the Pakistani state.
When Bush decided to attack Afghanistan in less than a month after 9/11, I opposed this US policy at every forum, including through the print and electronic media. Later, when he ordered the invasion of Iraq, I joined the nearly 2 million marchers in London opposing the Iraq war. It is noteworthy that at the time, over 90 per cent of Americans supported Bush’s Iraq invasion. Today, the overwhelming opinion in the US is that Iraq was a disaster. Moreover, the so-called “good war” in Afghanistan is being lost and its support dwindling.
It is not surprising to see the findings of a Rand Corporation study of the last 40 years of terrorist or asymmetric conflicts, which reveal that only 7 per cent of these conflicts were resolved through military means.
When Musharraf buckled under the US pressure and sent the Pakistan Army into Waziristan, I opposed it in parliament and through the media. Speaking to the editors, Musharraf called me a “terrorist without a beard” – as if terrorism is the sole domain of bearded folk. When the Pakistan Army was sent into Waziristan, there were no militant Taliban in Pakistan. As a result of the Army operation, the tribal social and political structure was destroyed throughout Fata and Malakand, and the vacuum has been filled by nine major militant Taliban groups.
Again, at the time Musharraf commenced military action in Balochistan I opposed it and was accused of backing the “anti-state” elements. Today, what was a movement for Baloch rights and autonomy within Pakistan has morphed into a Baloch independence movement. On opposing the Lal Masjid operation, some of the self-appointed “liberals” accused me of backing the Islamic fundamentalists. But soon most of the indefatigable crusaders for human rights joined the critics of the Lal Masjid operation. More sobering is the fact that there were 60 suicide attacks in the aftermath of the slaughter of the Lal Masjid inmates and a steep rise in extremism. The Swat flare-up is a direct consequence of the Lal Masjid operation.
While discussing my opposition to the current military operation, I must state where I stand politically and ideologically. My political inspiration is derived solely from Quaid-i-Azam, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the constitutionalist and democrat who believed in the rule of law above all else. My ideological moorings are firmly rooted in the political and spiritual dimensions of Allama Iqbal’s exposition of Islam, which not only liberates society from bondage but also the human soul from material desires – releasing the enormous God-given human potential.
Above all, I am an ardent follower of our Prophet’s (PBUH) example of inspiring the heart and the intellect rather than forcing ideas through the sword – a far cry from what has been happening in Swat in the name of Islam. So on no count can I possibly either support the un-Islamic acts such as beheadings, flogging of women, or forcing a way of life on others, nor am I an apologist for such people – I am only answerable on this count to my conscience and to my God.
As for my opposition to the Malakand military operation, first and foremost I believe that the military option, if it has to be used should always be a last resort. Yet in Swat, the military operation was started barely two weeks after the presidential signing of the accord without alternative political strategies being given a chance. In my opinion, a national conference of all stakeholders, including religious and political parties and groups, particularly those representing Swat, should have been called prior to the operation. A delegation from such a conference should have been mandated to visit Swat and talk reason to the militants and report back to parliament. In other words, every effort should have been made to make the militants abide by the peace deal. All along the political effort, a concerted effort should have been made to gain time to revive civil administration, police, and the paramilitary presence in Swat.
The diehard militants who consistently refused to adhere to peace agreement could have been isolated over time – a key counter-insurgency tactic followed by precise military action to decapacitate the leadership.
Assuming, there was no alternative to the military option, then while it was being planned, arrangements should have been made for the people who were going to be displaced. Sadly, and shamefully, the military operation began suddenly under increased US pressure, timed with Zardari’s US visit and with the least concern for the people of the area.
The unfolding tragedy that is taking place in Swat is mindboggling. To flush out a few thousand militant Taliban, more than two million people have been forced to live in misery in camps not fit for animals in civilised societies. Even more disturbing is the use of heavy artillery shelling and bombing from the air alongside helicopter gunships in areas with significant civilian population. Despite a heavy blackout, the news coming from the war zone tell tales of dozens if not hundreds of innocent civilian casualties.
Given the collapse of governance in the country, can we adequately look after so many displaced people – especially as summer temperatures soar? And for how long? The wheat crop has already been lost. If the IDPs cannot return within two months, the fruit cash crops will be at risk. Hence how will they sustain themselves for the coming year? Perhaps most dangerous is the possibility of IDPs’ anger and frustration that besides resulting in riots may also swell the ranks of the militants.
In such a situation, according to the Army briefing given to the parliamentarians, there is every possibility of the Taliban resurfacing not just in Malakand Division but elsewhere in the country – possibly the urban centres. Can we afford further spread of terrorism in our cities given the precarious security and fragile economic situation? Military action breeds more militancy.
An Army action which has already led to almost 2.5 million displaced countrymen cannot simply be accepted without questions. And, as if we do not already have a crisis, Zardari has declared that the war in Swat is merely the beginning of a wider war, which is likely to engulf other parts of the country. It is time to take stock and stop ourselves from committing collective suicide. What needs to be done is the following:
* The military action unfortunately is already underway but there is no political, particularly governance, strategy which is guiding this operation. That should be the first priority so that the military action does not continue in a political vacuum.
* A clear governance and political strategy that allows the IDPs to return following a swift end to military operation is needed. This strategy should be focused on a system of speedy justice through the Nizam-e-Adl and effective civil administration. The writ of the state and the rule of law go together and this has to be ensured if violent challenges to state and government are to be avoided in the future.
* The military action, if at all, should have been extremely limited in scale and targeted with precision to minimise civilian casualties. Tragically, this did not happen and my fear is that widespread use of aerial weapons would only result in greater civilian casualties, swelling the ranks of the militants. So the military action needs to be revised to focus more on specific targeting and commando action.
Will any of this happen? Unfortunately in the present mood of the ruling elite, this does not seem likely. Instead, we will see increasing military action in the tribal areas as long as the US is in occupation of Afghanistan.
In other words, as long as US troops in Afghanistan are perceived to be an occupying force that is anti-Pushtun and anti-Islam, there will be no peace in this region. We are heading in a fatal direction unless we change our strategy and pull out of this insane war that is sinking us into chaos. The longer this persists, the deeper we will find ourselves in this quagmire and we will confront a deeply divided society.
Finally, my heart bleeds for the poor soldier confronting his own people turned into misguided and brutalised militants and giving his life for a war wrought on him by a corrupt and decadent ruling elite that cannot see beyond the lure of American dollars that have become as much of a curse for this hapless nation as the criminal extremists in our very midst.

Got a feel for stocks?

I’ve met many traders that came into the currency market from stock markets around the world. In other words, they were a stock trader in their “home” market before venturing into the currency market. What they usually don’t realize is that their stock market knowledge could help them in the currency market.
For instance, the German DAX has been “perking up” lately. It broke a recent downtrend line and has also recently come back up above its 200 SMA (which is more than most U.S. indexes can say right now). When big institutions start to see this, they start to funnel money into that market. So not only do Europeans invest in the DAX but foreigners to that market do too.
When they want to invest in that market, they have to “sell” their home currency and “buy” the home currency of that market. In this case, that would be euros. Since Americans have become such huge international investors, I look to the EUR/USD pair.
Americans would have to sell their dollars and buy euros before they can purchase a stock priced in euros. This helps the EUR/USD exchange rate to head higher as the DAX improves. Also, as their stock market improves, so does the sentiment for their country and therefore their currency overall too. This is another reason why it would cause the euro to prosper.
General Exception to this Rule: Many times, the dollar will do THE OPPOSITE of its stock market. Therefore, as the U.S. stock market recovers, the dollar historically plummets and as their stock market tanks, traders run into the “safe haven” of the world’s reserve currency….the dollar.
This effect really adds to the EUR/USD trade as both the DAX and U.S. stock markets perk up. So if you are new to currencies and are still “getting your feet wet” there, but have strong opinions on where the stock market indexes are going….then maybe you have a much better grasp on where currencies are going and you just didn’t know it.

European Central Bank Squabbling Harmful to Recovery

It has been an interesting week as bickering members of the European Central Bank’s Governing Council continue to trash-talk each other in public. This time, the controversy is over the amount the ECB has committed to buy assets to help stimulate the economy.
On Wednesday, Germany’s Axel Weber – a member of the Governing Council since 2004 and a former President of the Deutsche Bundesbank – said that the ECB would limit expenditures to 60 billion euros and that only covered bonds would be considered appropriate assets for the Bank to purchase.
The very next day, Marko Kranjec – also a member of the Governing Council representing Slovenia – openly contradicted Weber saying that it is likely that that the Bank would spend far more than 60 billion euros and would also buy assets including corporate bonds and commercial paper as part of the stimulus plan.
While ECB bankers airing their dirty laundry for all the world to see is nothing new, the timing for this most recent spat couldn’t be worse. The whole point of buying assets and injecting cash into the economy is to instill confidence and convince consumers that it is safe to invest and spend. But when these so-called leaders are incapable of a promoting a simple, unified message for the media, one can only wonder what kind of chaos reigns behind closed doors.
ECB President Jean-Claude Trichet needs to get everyone on the same page and quickly or risk prolonging the recession in Europe even as other regions begin to make progress.

Central Bank Mulls Intervention to Hold Down Singapore Dollar

While the Singapore Dollar hasn’t been punished to the same extent as its counterparts, the currency was nonetheless dealt a strong blow by the credit crisis, falling 20% in a matter of months, after peaking in 2008. For its part, the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS)- which functions as the Central Bank- couldn’t have been happier. The currency had fallen just enough to almost completely offset its rise during the leadup to the crisis. Now, with a global stock market rally underway and a modest economic recovery taking shape on the horizon, the Singapore Dollar has quickly erased almost half of its slide. The Central Bank naturally, is alarmed, and is threatening to intervene. While the MAS, itself, has thus far denied such a possibility, insiders suggested that “The Monetary Authority of Singapore will buy the U.S. dollar “‘f it falls below S$1.4700, around S$1.4690…’ [which] roughly equates with the strong end of the undisclosed trade-weighted band that the MAS uses to guide the Singapore currency.” Curiously enough, the Singapore Dollar beat a retreat this week, after rising all the way to $1.45.
The Singapore Dollar is generally considered a bellweather for the currencies of neighboring countries. Singapore is seen as having a model economic policy, and the Singapore Dollar is somewhat immune from the shocks that affect other currencies because its fluctuation is controlled via a loose band by the city-state’s Monetary Authority. The exchange rate is basically used in lieu of conventional monetary policy ( i.e. adjusting interest rates), although market supply/demand plays a significant role. You can think of the MAS as performing a sort of smoothing function.
In this way, the MAS is acting similarly to the Swiss National Bank, which professes to manipulate its exchange rate in order to prevent deflation- not to increase the competitiveness of exporters. According to a top MAS official, “We keep our monetary policy [based] on the medium-term inflation outlook and taking into account growth prospects. We don’t use the currency for competitiveness because it is not sustainable to align currencies just for competitiveness.” This is somewhat plausible as the MAS intervened similarly during the last downturn, in order to forestall a systemic drop in prices.
As always, the line between maintaining price stability and increasing demand is thin, since the latter is in fact used to bring about the former. This is especially true with Singapore, whose economy is largely dependent on exports to drive growth, and hence has been hit especially hard by the downturn. “In the first quarter of 2009, calculated on an annualized basis, Singapore’s economy contracted at a record rate of 11.5 percent from a year earlier, and 19.7 percent from the previous quarter.” [See Chart] As a powerful symbol of just how bad things are, the New York Times recently reported that over 700 cargo ships are docked near and around Singapore, idling as a result of slackened trade. Maybe the MAS noticed…

The Sucker’s Rally and the Dollar

“The Dow Jones Industrial Average has bounced an astounding 30% from its March 9 low of 6547. Is this the dawn of a new era? Are we off to the races again?” Asks Andy Kessler provocatively in a recent Op-Ed for the Wall Street Journal.
This is an important question not only for stock market investors, but also for forex traders. By no coincidence, the stock market rally has coincided with a steady decline in the Dollar, which recently broke through a key level of resistance and touched a four-month low against a basket of currencies, and is similarly nearing a four-month low against its chief rival, the Euro. ”
Experts” point to a decline in risk aversion as the chief driver of the rally; when investors become more comfortable with risk, they buy stocks, which in turn causes investors to become even more complacent with risk. Hence, a 30% rally only six months after stocks recorded their worst day and worst week ever.
In this case, however, the experts are not in complete agreement. Economic fundamentals, for example, remain relatively weak, and corporate profits are still anemic. Andy Kessler blames the Fed for distorting “asset allocation formulas” by dropping yields to zero and for its quantitative easing program, which “gets money into the economy the fastest — basically by cranking the handle of the printing press and flooding the market with dollars (in reality, with additional bank credit). Since these dollars are not going into home building, coal-fired electric plants or auto factories, they end up in the stock market.”
Sure enough, trading data suggests that in fact this rally is being driven by retail investors, as opposed to institutions. Says Lou Ritholz, ” ‘The ‘dumb’ retail money is leading the gains. ‘In this type of environment, the market is guilty until proven innocent. We have to assume this remains a bear market until we see a more normalized economy.’ ” In short, it looks like analysts have confused the chicken with egg, by emphasizing the decline in risk aversion, rather than the self-fulfilling nature of the rally.
If the rally does end, it will almost certainly be good news for the Dollar, at least in the short-term. There has emerged a strong correlation between global stock prices and emerging market currencies, for example, which virtually ensures an outflow of capital from emerging markets. One professional idiot- err investor- Jim Rogers has prognosticated an end both to the stock market rally and the Dollar rally. Credit Rogers for his long-term thinking, but he seems to have impugned a direct relationship, when recent trends suggest it is actually inverse.
I agree with Kessler, and abide by the same maxim “Only a fool predicts the stock market…” My point here is not to convince you that the market rally is unsustainable, but rather to emphasize the importance of knowing where you stand. I’m personally quite bearish on the Dollar in the long-term (food for a future post), but a damper in the stock rally would almost certainly be positive for the Dollar.

What is SEO?

Search Engine Optimization or SEO is the process of designing, creating and refining your web site’s contents and structure so that it is represented in a more prominent position when found by a search engine.
Search engines follow a set of rules to measure the importance of a website called search engine algorithms. All search engines have different complex algorithms, a wider range of factors including on-site factors as well off-site factors to compile their results. To properly implement SEO strategies, you need to understand On-page optimization factors and Off-page optimization factors.

Benefits of implementing SEO

· Cost-effective Customer Acquisition – No Pay per Click cost; businesses save 1000s of dollars in a month.
· Affordable Costs – Initial SEO cost is affordable, that is gradually reduced more but your web site's results are improved every month, if you keep implementing SEO. On the other hand, paid-search is an expensive high cost Internet Marketing option.
· Develop Trust – Web searchers trust sites found in organic search listings.
· Improved Click-through – 68% searchers click-through on organic search listings.

On-Page Optimization Factors

Search engines use several factors in their ranking algorithms, one of which is on-page optimization factors. These are elements which actually appear on the page (such as page title, headings and body text) and contribute to the engine’s assessment of the subject matter and relevance of the page. On-page optimization involves ensuring that these factors are optimally included for the targeted search terms.
On-the-page factors are a very important group of factors and after fully optimizing all the critical elements on your pages your website can outperform many other less search engine-friendly sites.
On-site optimization factors include:
· Keyword Research
· URL Optimization
· Keyword Positioning
· Optimizing Page Contents
· Tuning the pages
· Optimizing Site Structure
· Website Submission
· Other Optimization issues
(On-page Optimization factors are covered with details in next steps)

Off-Page Optimization Factors

In addition to on-page factors, search engines are increasingly using off-page factors to calculate relevance. This is because off-page factors are more difficult to manipulate artificially. Right Keyword Selection = Success; Wrong Keyword Selection = Failure

When someone uses a search engine, he/she type words into the search box to find what he / she is looking for. These words are referred to as keywords or key phrases.
The most important job in SEO is to determine exactly what your ideal audience is searching for. It requires some homework; make a list of the following items:
1. Think about your web site theme and your potential targeted keywords. Think what people may type to search your site
2. List your Products and/or services’ names and some relevant words.
3. List the solutions you provide – the benefits your customers will get – try listing them in form of key phrases.
4. Potential targeted keywords – that one may use to search your products or services
5. Targeted countries, regions and cities names
6. Check your competition – what keywords you competitors are using. Search for your targeted keywords and notice the titles, meta description & keyword tags, first paragraphs of your competitors’ pages that are getting higher rankings.
7. Add action words with your targeted keywords, like Buy, Purchase, Discounted, Exclusive etc.
8. Avoid common words like the, of, or, for, this, that, and, www etc.
9. Targeted keywords should be 2 – 5 words long.
10. Avoid general terms (or single words) like hotels, flights, jobs, marketing etc. – make them targeted like luxury Dubai hotels, discounted flights to London, marketing jobs in UK, online marketing firms Muscat etc.
11. Now, gather these words you already have collected and optimize this keyword list through Keyword Research Tools.

Real-life Example of Keyword Research

For your understanding, here is a practical example of above-mentioned steps: (you may adjust it as per your business model and your targeted keywords)
1. We manage a web site offering Furnished Apartments and villas for short-term rental in Dubai near Jumeirah Beach.
2. In this example, we offer 2 services: apartment rental (studio, 1 – 5 bedrooms) and villa rental (2 – 6 bedrooms)
3. Benefits our customers get: luxurious furnished apartments, luxurious villas, beach-front, spa, Jacuzzi, gymnasium, swimming pools, near nightlife, safe and secure, near shopping, near business hub, car rental, boat rental, desert safari etc.
4. Potential targeted keywords: Furnished Apartments, Furnished Villas, Short-term rentals, accommodation, beach-front apartments, beach-front villas, studio, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom, 3 bedroom, 4 bedroom, 5 bedroom, 6 bedroom, and many more…
5. Now add your target region with your potential targeted keywords: Dubai Furnished Apartments, Dubai Furnished Villas, Dubai Short-term rentals, accommodation in Dubai, Dubai beach-front apartments, Dubai beach-front villas, and so on.
6. Check your competition – what keywords you competitors are using. Search on Google.com, Yahoo.com and Live.com for the above-mentioned keywords and notice your competitor’s sites’ titles, meta description & keyword tags, first paragraphs of your competitors’ pages that are getting higher rankings. This will give you a clearer picture about your targeted phrases.
7. Add action words with your targeted keywords, like Book today, Reserve now, Contact us, Call now, Visit our web site, Luxurious, Exclusive, Beach-front etc.
8. Avoid common words like the, of, or, for, this, that, and, www etc.
9. Targeted keywords should be 2 – 5 words long.
10. Avoid general terms (or single words) like apartments, villas, accommodation, rental etc. – make them targeted like luxury Dubai apartments, beach-front villas in Dubai, accommodation in Dubai near beach, short-term apartment rental Dubai etc.
Now, gather these words you already have collected and optimize this keyword list through Keyword Research Tools.

Backlinks: Position of Link

· The value of each link is shared between the numbers of total links on that page.

Pages penalized due to Sp@m – what are the reasons?

· Keyword stuffing
· Invisible Text - spammers use keywords stuffing and change font color as background color.
· Invisible Links – Don’t hide your links, if human visitors cannot see your links; they’re considered as spam
· Tiny Text – that is unreadable by human visitors
· Meta Refresh tag - The meta refresh tag allows those visiting a particular web page to be automatically taken to a new web page.
· Meta Tag stuffing – add unrelated keywords in meta keyword and description tag that has nothing to do with actual site contents.
· Page stuffing – duplicate or slightly different pages
· Domain spamming / mirror site
· Cloaking: Search engines will penalize your website if cloaking is found. This is when one content is provided to search engines and a different content is provided to web users.

Submission to Directories: Yahoo Directory & The Open Project (DMoz)

· Almost all crawler-based search engines spiders regularly crawl DMOZ.org & Yahoo Directory. If you are listed there, the SEs will find your link easily during their next crawl, and index your pages, even without your submission.
· Directories are human-edited. Be very careful about choosing the appropriate category and filling out the forms.
· Before submitting to a directory, it's highly recommended that you ensure your site is free from broken links and missing image problems and make sure that your site has valuable and unique content.

LSI – Latent Semantic Indexing

People, who are involved in SEO, get worried when they hear about LSI – Latent Semantic Index, and when they try to find out how to use latent semantic indexing, they get even more worried when they get conflicting messages.

LSI does exist, but not in the form that Google would have us believe, and not in any form that you can use to make your website ‘LSI compliant’. Anybody claiming that they can do that are simply playing Google’s trick and using big names for what is a very simple thing to do.Latent semantic analysis is used by Google primarily to detect spam, in respect of excessive repetition of keywords in order to fool the search engines into providing a high listing for that keyword. There was a time when smart people could indeed achieve this simply by writing a meaningless template with rotating synonyms into which any keyword could be multiply inserted by means of software. Thousands of pages could be generated in minutes, each targeting a different keyword. Some were making thou$ands daily from Adsense using this method. In fact the principles of LSA to determine the content of web pages were used by a small company called Oingo that changed its name to Applied Semantics who developed a search system to determine the relevance of page content for specific advert placement. They called this Adsense. This company was in turn bought by Google in April, 2003, and Adsense used to replace their own system which was still under development. Adsense, then, was not developed by Google, but purchased by them.Your web page content is now analyzed by the statistical mathematical analysis tool known as LSI and indexed according to the meaning of the words in your text. It goes further than just checking for the excessive use of specific words, and no longer searches only for indices of your stated keywords. LSA informs Google of the true meaning of your text, and you cannot hide this by repetitions of a single key phrase. Let’s call it LSI because that’s what Google calls it. LSI analyzes the character strings in your text and compares them to a large database of words, the meanings of which have been defined. If you write naturally, as you would if you were talking to somebody, and trying to explain your subject, then you will not have any problems with the LSI algorithm. There is no need to use an SEO expert, since they are not necessarily qualified in their knowledge and use of language. A thesaurus will do the job fine. However, in the way that it is used, if you use good vocabulary, contextually relevant to your keywords, then you will also be using good SEO. How to use latent semantic indexing properly is irrelevant in pure terminology, since you can’t use it on your web page. Google can use it in their algorithm, and you should make your vocabulary as understandable as possible by means of simple words that express the meaning of your text.

Sp@m – Avoid Getting Reported

· Avoid getting reported to the Google DMCA – Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Anyone may report to DMCA – if he/she notices any spam technique that you have used to artificially boost your rankings.
· Do not steal images/contents from other websites. Do not break any type of Copyright notice.
· Read Google Webmasters Guidelines
· Pages penalized due to SP@M (already discussed above – read them again)
· Over Optimization Penalty – OOP: You may get penalized for optimizing your web site excessively.
· If you’re a new online entrepreneur, please note that receiving good ranking may take time (approx. 3 months); so be patient.

File Size

· Do not exceed 150 Kb page size.
· Large pages tend to get indexed later than small pages.
· Less than 60 Kb is preferred file size by most search engines

Frequency of Update

· Pages that update frequently will get crawled more often.
· Google likes fresh content, News, Discussion, Blogs, Auctions etc.

Domain, Site & Contents Age

· A domain that exists for 3 or more years – have more importance in search engines’ eyes.
· An older site (with contents) has better rankings. Most spam sites are normally drops within a year that is why search engine reward old sites with better ranking.

Excess JavaScript, Flash & Inline Frames

· Keep JavaScript / Flash to a minimum.
· Place lengthy scripts into an external file
· Avoid JavaScript redirects and hidden links.
· Avoid excess use of Flash movies and Inline frames.

Traffic Buying / Link Schemes

· Build your traffic and link up naturally; instead of traffic buying and any type of link schemes. You will find some site offering: Get 100,000 visitors to your web site for $9.95, or 5,000 backlinks for $20; never use this sort of traffic generating service.
· If search engines discover that you are affiliated with any of these services, you may be penalized.

Server IP Address

· Most of the webs hosting companies don’t have their own servers – they’re just reselling one server’s space for example 160 Gb space to 160 different customers who are managing 160 different sites on the same server. These sites may include spam sites, black-listed sites, link farms etc.
· If spam websites have been hosted on the same server as yours, search engine may devalue your website.

10 Big Benefits Of A Busy Business Blog (And How To take Advantage)

About blogs, what can be said that hasn’t been said before? In all truth, very little, but there's still a lack of businesses willing to take up the “challenge” of running their own blog. Those that have done so often report their findings and invariably they have positive reviews of both the blogging process and the results of their business blog. In a bid to hammer the point home we’ve compiled a list of ten advantages of establishing and maintaining a business blog.
It's important to note the word “busy” in the title of this article. It isn’t there simply because it begins with a B and lends itself perfectly to the alliteration in the title. It’s meant to outline the fact that a blog is at its finest when it's regularly filled with quality content. A blog with no content is just a template.
1 - Quick And Easy
Two words that every business owner and manager loves. A blog is simple to set up even for the technologically challenged. There are a number of free blogging services, and while these aren’t ideal for a business blog they offer a way to start. Setting up a blog isn't like setting up a Web site. In the worst case scenario you'll have to install a software application on your Web site and tinker with a few settings.
2 - Inexpensive Setup
The only word more popular than quick and easy is inexpensive. To integrate a blog into the page of your site costs little, especially since someone within your organization can usually do it. Even outsourcing the task will cost only a couple hundred dollars. A blog could become one of the most powerful marketing weapons you have in your arsenal and the money you spend might just pay a salesperson for one day’s work.
3 - Provides Easy Access To Company News
A business blog can be written in one of numerous styles, or a combination of these. One huge benefit is the ability to inform your customers of any changes, new products, latest offers and much more. This, in turn, can lead to direct sales. People love to frequent blogs and pass their time reading the same ones on a regular basis. Captivate your audience with compelling content and you'll receive a growing list of market leads. Remember that individual blog readers generally prefer a personable style but if your operation is a business-to-business one then you'll need to vary your style accordingly.
Typically, companies have used newsletter and e-newsletters to offer this kind of regular contact with their customers and potential customers. Using a blog is easier and it can be updated more regularly than when offering a weekly or monthly newsletter.
4 - Search Engine Friendly
Search engine optimization is a particularly beneficial form of online marketing. It can be used to gain search engine traffic for given keywords or search terms. Your blog offers the opportunity to promote your Web site for hundreds or even thousands of different keywords. Search engines particularly like promoting blogs because they offer a large amount of content that is updated and added to on a regular basis.
5 - Appear Accessible
It doesn’t matter whether you are not, but you and your company will appear to be more accessible especially if you allow freedom for all your visitors to post comments. Accessibility is often a stumbling block for many potential customers that still prefer to deal with companies offline. A blog makes you more approachable and so alleviates this concern.
6 - Appear Authoritative
The appearance of authority is also important to online businesses. Customers will be much more likely to use your service or purchase your goods if they see you as an authority on a particular subject. Give your views on the latest events in your industry, offer reviews of related items and comparisons of several items. Do anything, within reason, that makes you look like an authority on your topic area.
7 - Brand Awareness
The more a customer hears the name of your company the greater the chance of remembering it. It takes, on average, around seven items of direct communication between you and your customers to make a sale. A blog with hundreds of posts gives you the opportunity to mention your company name and ensure that your readers think of you next time they're looking for a particular product or service.
8 - Relationship Building
Another difficult aspect of building a relationship with your customers online is building a rapport with them. A blog enables you to speak more freely and in a more informal and personable style than your Web site does, and your readers will soon feel like they know you. The more they know, like and trust you the more likely they are to visit your main site, click your links and purchase your product.
9 - Gain An Insight Into Your Customers
A business blog enables you to gain insight into your customers. It does this in several ways. Predominantly, by allowing your customers to leave comments on your posts, you get a sense of how they react to what you say. You can also track which posts are being read more often and which generate a greater number of clicks, emails, and much more. As far as market and customer research goes this is important information.
10 - Reduce Calls And Emails
You can use a blog to pre-empt questions that customers might have. By sending readers to your blog you can gain all of the above benefits and you may reduce the amount of niggling questions that you get asked by customers. Of course, you might also receive a lot more orders by email, but nobody wants to reduce those emails.
Maintaining A Successful Business Blog
While there are free blogging services available they generally offer ad-supported blogs with a restricted amount of templates and options. To truly take advantage with a business blog your best bet is to use a commercial application or pay for a commercial service. These enable you to integrate the blog into your own domain incorporating your own design. This ensures that you offer the full benefit to site visitors while making it easier to point blog visitors toward the appropriate pages of your site.
Regular content is imperative to the success of any blog. This content needs to be informative, accurate, and written in a way that will appeal to your visitors. Every blog demands different content and by producing the right content on a regular basis it will pay dividends.
In some posts you should try to find an opportunity to link to at least one page on your main Web site. Try not to get carried away by placing too many links or linking from all your posts but if you mention a particular product, link the name of that product to the corresponding page on your site. Alternatively include a paragraph at the bottom of the page that includes a link to a related resource (on your own page, or an affiliate link). If you're using a blog to make money through affiliate links then you should be careful to only use affiliate links in a relatively small proportion of your posts.

The Top Ten Ranking Misconception: How To Make Money Online "Without" A Top Ten Ranking

"If there is anyone who believe that you have to have a top ten ranking/number one ranking to make money online effectively then tell me why there are a lot of internet marketing millionaires who are steady receiving sizable traffic and making money online "without" the search engines? The internet is big business. There are so many ways to make money online "without" the search engines. In my experience, you do not have to be number one or have a top ten ranking in order to make money online profitably. A lot of individuals do not realize this but there are numerous of six to seven figure online earners that are no where near the top of the search engines but still bring in a substantial amount of traffic. But how can one generate a sizable income without having a top ten ranking? One secret is "the money is in the list". If you can manage to accumulate a subscriber list of say maybe 1,000 to 2,000 (and this is an extremely low number) to start out, you can and will start to see profits. An advantage of building an opt in list is a lot of subscribers turn into customers and then those customers turn into repeat customers. You can sell them one thing and turn around and sell them another. The hardest thing is building the list from scratch. So how do you build an opt in subscriber list?Well, the best way is, to offer something for FREE at your website or blog. Just make sure that it is something of value and useful. Having a subscriber list is one of the keys to making money online "without" the search engines. They even have services all over the internet that will provide you with the targeted list you need to successfully make money online. You do not need a top ten ranking to rake in the kind of money that the number one ranking websites recieve. It helps but it really is a misconception. If there is anyone who like to challenge me, The Internet CEO, on this issue, feel free to comment on this.Another way to make money online without a top ten ranking is to have lots of articles promoting your product or service. If you have some keywords within your articles, they will help your rankings rise but to tell you the truth, in my experience, it is not really the keywords in the article that gets traffic, it is really the interest of the article that gets traffic. Most people who search for things on the internet are looking for quality and value. But before they see quality and value of something, they have to see the interest first.Receiving traffic "without" the search engines is what I call "making independent money". The Fortune 500 companies are no longer a threat to the small independent online entrepreneurs. We are becoming more savvy in our marketing avenues while spending less. A lot of the top ten rankings are held by these type of "major" companies but its only because of their budget. The major online companies may have a bigger budget but anytime you have a bigger budget, there is bigger overhead. The independent internet marketers understand this and this is why we have to work harder and network together to build a strong foundation.

How to Earn US$1,000 with Google Adsense each month?

How to Earn US$1,000 with Google Adsense each month?Copyright © 2009 Fione Tan
Millions of website owners and blog authors are joining Google Adsense income to make money online. This program is where you get to share a percentage of the amount paid by the pay per click (PPC) advertisers on Google.com when this click is derived from your website visitors.
Can you make thousands of dollars using Google Adsense? I've seen many successful cases of entrepreneurs earning thousands of dollars each month using this method alone. The key is to fully understand how this works, and then study the statistics that are derived from the Adsense area.
One of my internet marketing client (brand new home business online entrepreneur) asked me the question of when he / she should apply for Google Adsense?
First, the details about this program as listed at www.google.com/adsense so you can read more about this money making program before you join it.
Before applying, you should think of these points:-
a) What website are you using to apply? The website or domain name should have valid content rich webpages and not display any under construction webpages.
- if you are using a BLOG to apply then the best choice is to use your Blogger account (Google's blog website will display your blogs as id.blogspot.com such as http://1discountshopping.blogspot.com/ ) - if you are hosting your own blog with the installed blog version, then you will specify where google adsense codes are to be pasted. Sample blog is http://www.eonenet.com/internet_marketing_blog
- contents on your website do not mean that you just cut and paste some images there, or add in a full list of affiliate programs but to really write useful tips / contents related to the topic of your website.
b) When creating your google adsense account, please make sure that you use your correct / real name as they will make the cheque payable to that name. Sometimes in Asia many are confused about their First name and Last name
- First name is your name eg Yok Ling while Last name is your Surname like Yap or Lee. Even if your are called Lim Ah Beng but the cheque is issued to the name of Ah Beng Lim (because in Asia, the Surname / Last name is normally placed at the beginning, while the other way round in the USA), you will still be eligible to bank in the cheque into your local account and obtain the funds, irregardless of whether you are in Thailand or Malaysia.
- If you wish to use an English name which is not listed in your identification card then it's better of that you register the name for the Google adsense account or your future joined affiliate programs using your "as per identity card / bank account name"
c) One more pointer to remember is to "hold" your cheque payments from Google Adsense. For international publishers (website owners or blog owners), Google will issue and mail the cheque for every US$100 income you earn from this program. However, if you are clearing this cheque out of USA, then you will need to bear your local bank charges that varies from each country.
For instance, in Malaysia, a US Dollar cheque can be charged at RM25 to RM35 per cheque so the total amount that you receive at the end, will be a lesser amount. Moreover it will take about 21 working days before the cheque that you bank in will be cleared into your account.
What websites are rejected or prohibited from joining Google adsense program? These include gambling, pornographic, and illegal activities website. Therefore, whether you have a personal blog or a managing a manufacturing factory's website, you can still earn money by placing Google adsense there.
After you have 1 registered google adsense account, you can use the codes provided inside the Google adsense's member area for your other blogs or websites.

Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing is one of the oldest earning options available for bloggers and this option is still helping lot of bloggers. Though, this option is only suitable for niche bloggers (bloggers covering a specific topic) or bloggers having huge readership. By affiliating with proper programs, any blogger can easily hope to earn revenue in the tune of $ 1 to $ 10000 per month. In affiliate marketing, bloggers are paid money when someone buys a product or service by using their affiliate link. These are three options which I am using presently, though; I have tried number of other options too but later came back to these options. According to many experience, I will suggest people to concentrate on these three options initially to earn money.

Sponsored Posts

In 2006, bloggers across the world saw another revolution in blogging field with the introduction of number of players sponsoring post on blogs. Bloggers started getting proposals of paid blogging in the tune of $ 5 to $ 200 per post. Most of these players choose page rank as criteria for paying blogger per post e.g. more money for higher page rank blogs. Lots of blogger across the world got advantage of these opportunities and earned money in the tune of $ 5 to $ 5000 per month.
